Bio
The Apostolic Band was formed in 1995 at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, Woodbridge, VA, by a group of men who love to play Christian music together. There have been several members along the way, but the current line-up is John Ford (keyboards, guitar, vocals, and arrangements), Chris Werle (guitar and vocals), Steve Hein (Vocals), Glen Phillips (guitar and vocals), Dennis Westberg (bass and vocals), and Robert Ford (drums).
Why this name?
The name of the band resulted from an Easter Sunday School study series where we followed the lives of Jesus\' disciples, which were often referred to in the readings as \"The Apostolic Band\".
Do you play live?
We play live mainly at church and are looking to do some coffee houses.
