Straight out of East Texas emerges a new artist by the name of "Bigg Jake". Raised in the rural area of Texas(Backwoods) or as you all will call it "Da Country". Bigg Jake is a proclaimed and well respected artist.

At age 12, Bigg Jake Da Mixxtape recorded his first freestyle tape with a local DJ by the name of Ron-C, not knowing that when Jake got home, his mother would be totally upset from hearing him curse on the tape. Jake would be in for a rude awakening. Even though he was punished for using profanity on his tape, Big Jake had fallen in love with his rap music.

By age 13, Jake had his first Karaoke were he would spend all day imitating his favorite rappers which are now Texas icons such as Fat Pat, Lil Keke, R.I.P Big Hawk, and the entire SUC Click. Even though Bgg Jake was from the country he still grew up on Houston, Texas music such as Scarface, Ghettoboys, UGK, and DJ Screw.

By Middle School, Bigg Jake started to become locally recognized as one of the best young artist in his area. Everyday after school, Bigg Jake would have freestyle sessions with his karaoke with all other local rappers. These sessions got such buzz that by his 9th grade year, Bigg Jake started dropping local undaground Freestyle tapes. It was such a demand for his freestyles that people would be coming by and knocking on his classroom door interrupting to ask if they culd buy a freestyle CD.

While in High School, Jake went through a well known television show(AMERICAN IDOL) where he made it through several auditons but eventually he was told that his rap stood out better than his Vocals. Following these auditions Jake Flew to L.A were he recorded with Corey Clark (an American Idol Finalist). He also had a chance to be with the famous/well respected music industry producer Johnny J( produced for 2pac and Outlaws). At the return from L.A, Bigg Jake Continued Grindin' working on his music.

Since then, Bigg Jake hooked up with a childhood friend who became his manager. With the mind in the grind also the brains of his manager, Bigg Jake and Marco has created a much bigger buzz that has grown from Dallas to Houston and is still growing all over Texas. Bigg Jake and Marco also created a Street Team by the name of Grind-A-Holix that will soon be spreading to your city!!! Bigg Jake is currently Working with labels and artists such as T-Town/Universal, Trae, Swishahouse, Choppaholix(BumSquad DJs), Beltway 8,Hataproof, Wossness, Shut em down/ Dopehouse, and many more........
